Accounts and sign-in
Google registration, sessions and access to your saved networks.
Register or log in#
Google is the enabled sign-in provider. To create an account, choose Register, accept the Terms of Service and complete Cloudflare Turnstile verification. New account creation records the terms version and acceptance time. Existing users choose Login and use the same Google identity to see their saved configurations.
Apple sign-in is not configured. There is no PacketShield email/password account or password-reset form. Your Google password is entered only on Google; PacketShield does not receive it.
Sessions and sign-out#
The account page shows your name, email and provider. A session can last up to seven days. Signing out ends the current browser session without deleting your drafts.
Accounts use panel.packetshield.xyz. Clicking the PacketShield brand in the panel returns to /panel. Billing opens a separate workspace at billing.packetshield.xyz, using a secure single-use sign-in handoff from the panel. Each workspace keeps its own necessary session cookie.
Sign-in issues#
- Open the panel over HTTPS and allow necessary authentication cookies.
- Use the Google account used to register.
- If Google reports a callback configuration error, contact support.
- Do not share session cookies, passwords or OAuth secrets in Discord.
