Billing and payments

Free orders, the billing entry point and Stripe status.

Pre-launch workspace. Live traffic protection is not active.

Billing entry point#

billing.packetshield.xyz is a separate billing workspace. Open Billing from the panel to view your services, recorded costs, renewal dates and amount due. You securely sign in with your existing PacketShield account.

Existing saved configurations are free and show $0 due. Cancelled services remain in billing history. Paid balances require real billing records; invoice synchronization is not connected yet.

Free orders#

Free configuration saves do not collect a card, charge a fee or initiate Stripe checkout. A saved draft is not a paid subscription.

Cancellation requests#

Choose Request cancellation beside a service. Select immediate cancellation or the end of its billing period, add an optional reason and submit. The service remains unchanged while the request awaits administrator review.

Free configurations have no billing period, so only immediate cancellation is available. An approved immediate request closes the saved configuration and keeps billing history. End-of-period approval schedules closure for the recorded period end. Scheduled closures are processed when the workspace is opened and by a background check every 15 minutes.

The Cancellation requests tab shows pending, approved and denied decisions and any administrator note. A denied request leaves the service unchanged. Approved requests do not imply a refund.

Payment integration#

Stripe integration code exists, but payment credentials and live checkout are not enabled for this offering. Legacy sample prices do not guarantee an available paid service.

A success URL alone is not payment confirmation. Future payment status must be verified on the server against Stripe and the ordering account. For a connected paid subscription, approved cancellation must be confirmed by Stripe. Existing unpaid balances are not automatically waived and cancellation does not issue a refund.
